The Scenic Railway at Idora Park seems like the only exciting place to visit in Oakland at the time this Flow Blue Souvenir Plate was made. Really? The National Bank?
There was a merry-go-round, zoo animals, a theater, skating rink, circle swing and other carnival rides. Click above to see postcards of just how beautiful it was.
